Meet some of the missionaries that we are praying for and supporting!

Aiden Meadows was raised in Mosaic Church and has been part of this body of believers since he was two years old. After finishing a year of accelerated, missions-focused bible college at Calvary Bible Institute (CBI), Yucca Valley and a semester interning at CBI after graduation, he moved to the Philippines in January, 2023. He is serving as a pastoral intern at Calvary Bible Institute in Tagaytay, Philippines during their Inaugural year. He is helping to run the bible college, aid in outreach work in nearby Tagatay City, and assist Pastor Tony of Calvary Chapel Tagaytay City with duties pertaining to both the bible college and the church. Aiden will be serving with practical needs at the church facility as well as spiritually by helping to disciple new believers.

Denis & Eileen Nogue live and work in the central highlands of Guatemala primarily with the Q’eqchi’ people. Our main focus is in the training of Pastors and church leaders in the foundations of the Bible and biblical principles with a 9 month program. Many of these Pastors have been serving in their own Church for many years with very little education and no formal Bible training. We work with a young man, Sergio Barahona, who is a Calvary Chapel Pastor and also our Q’eqchi’ interpreter. Other areas of ministry include coordinating and bringing in 40’ containers of Gleaners food and medical equipment to serve the poor and malnutritioned, of which there are many.
Prayer requests: For each of our students who are studying through the Bible training, as they have made many sacrifices to take this training. That the supplies we bring in reach the areas needed most. That the Lord guide and direct us and give us wisdom with each decision we make. For Sergio, that the Lord give him wisdom and strength as he carries much responsibility with Pastoring his own Church, with Pastoring a new Church Plant that arose from a community we have been working in, as well as interpreting and sometimes teaching the Bible training. Información on supporting our ministry can be found on our website at: https://www.seedstoharvest.ca/ If anyone would like to be on our mailing list we mail out ministry updates about 8 or 9 times per year. Karl and Ana Kruze are missionaries with Northern Canadian Evangelical Mission, who minister to First Nations, homeless, and others across the island. Karl became the Ministry Coordinator for Esperanza in 2021. They live in Cedar and frequently worship with us at Mosaic. Last year we sent 4 teams to Esperanza, doing construction projects, a Thanksgiving dinner outreach, and helping to facilitate a men's conference. We sense a strong bond and calling to this special place, excited to be part of what God is doing locally on our island.

The Paul Initiative, founded by Ed and Cheryl Hickey, trains Pastors overseas in discipleship. Pastors and missionaries learn how to make disciples and plant churches. They oversee free training and mentoring programs, an orphanage and school, and other ministries in countries such as Nepal, Kenya, Bangladesh, India. Email Ed to get on their mailing list and learn more about their work. They are currently seeking donations to build a septic system for a children’s home in Kenya: Contact Ed: edhickey77@gmail.com Website: www.thepaulinitiative.com |
“Acacia grew up in Mosaic coming with her family. It was here that she gave her life to the Lord and got baptized (on one of the church camp outs when she was 9). Around that time, she knew God was calling her to long term missions, to tell people who didn’t have access to the Gospel about Him. After moving to Kamloops with her family in 2018, she went to Rosarito Mexico with the team from here. In 2020 Cameron found out about and directed Acacia towards the Calvary School of Missions, ran out of Saving Grace World Missions in Rosarito, Mexico.
This school further confirmed her call to long term missions and opened her eyes to the need of the Unreached. From there she came back to Canada to graduate high school, and then moved down to California to attended Calvary Bible Institute and be closer to Saving Grace World Missions. During her final semester of high school God started speaking to her about Muslims and planting those seeds of love for them in her heart. Since graduating Bible College she has interned at Saving Grace, taking missions, culture, and Bible classes. After an 8-month internship in Southern California, Acacia moved to Trujillo, Peru in August 2022 to continue getting culture training and working directly with seasoned missionaries. Apart of a team to spread the Gospel in restricted countries, she plans to move to a Muslim country in the 10/40 Window in October of 2023.” You can follow Acacia's missionary blog here: https://sgwm.com/ascott/ If you would like to financially support Acacia, you can choose her name from the drop-down menu on Paypal & Tithely here or mention her name in the notes section of your e-Transfer to info@mosaicchurch.ca. |
